SCHOLARSHIP INFORMATION AND APPLICATION FORM

SCHOLARSHIPS

A minimum of two $1,000 scholarships will be awarded to incoming freshmen, transfer and/or returning A&M students. The scholarship selection committee will choose the scholarship recipients.
Each scholarship is paid directly to Texas A&M University, deducted from the fee statement at one-half of the scholarship amount per semester.

ELIGIBILITY

Any eligible (see note below) high school Senior accepted to Texas A&M University for the fall semester 2010.

OR

Any eligible (see note below) student currently enrolled at Texas A&M University with a 2.5 GPA or above.

Note: A high school or A&M college student or their parents/guardians must reside in Tarrant County or a surrounding County not currently represented by an A&M Mother’s Club or have graduated from a Tarrant County high school.

Fill in application completely. Please type or use black ink. If additional space is needed for activities, honors and awards, or financial information, attach another sheet to the application.
Attach a one-page paper stating your reasons for choosing Texas A&M and why you need / want a scholarship from our Mothers Club.

Attach an OFFICIAL high school / college transcript. (No copies will be accepted.)
Attach two (2) letters of recommendation: One from the school (teacher, counselor, etc.) and one personal recommendation preferably from someone in the community who knows your leadership abilities or has been involved with you in extra-curricular activities (church, volunteer organizations, employer etc.)
Return the completed application, your letter, transcript, and recommendations to:
