Latest News Park Named in Honor of Paul D. Rushing On October 4, 2002, a new park in Harris County was named for Paul D. Rushing '60. The park is just north of Katy and occupies a 232 acre tract at the headwaters of Bear Creek. It includes a large softball complex that will be the home to the Katy Girls Softball Association. It is located on a major flyway and will eventually include a chain of lakes for the use of migrating water fowl. The park was one of the projects Rushing worked on during the 13 years he was a manager of engineering for Harris County Precinct 3.
On May 20, 2003, Paul lost his long and courageous battle with cancer. 'Old Army The Metroplex residents of We Want You to Join Us! Several class members have expressed a desire to have a Dallas event and we hope to make this a monthly gathering of the class.
