It came to our attention that Classmate NORLAN DAUGHTREY '55 died July 20, 2005. Norlan was shot down over Viet Nam and spent almost 8 years in "The Hanoi Hilton", probably as long as anyone there. We think he should qualify as one to be honored with the Memorial Scholarship.

James Yates passed away April 19, 2004 in Gretna, Louisiana. He is survived by his 3 children Debra, Clara and Randy, 3 grandchildren and one great grandson.

Fred Zerbe, formerly of Houston, died in Argyle on December 20, 2004. Fred was a rancher in Argyle at the time of his death. He is survived by his wife Beverly, one son and one daughter.
